—> He doesn’t sing R&B (Thicke and Timberlake do sing R&B)
—> He’s not a rapper (Eminem is a rapper)
—> He wasn’t on a Beyonce song (Lady GaGa was)

BET only plays R&B and Hip-Hop (even by white people). Bieber is NOT R&B or Hip-Hop. And just because your video is on BET doesn’t make you good.

It’s because it’s Pop. Like kids’ pop. His music is in that category to them. I know JT is pop, but it’s more like mainstream what-everyone-listens-to Kinda Pop. So no, they probably won’t play Justin Bieber. Cause It’s classified as Kid Pop.

cuz Justin is only starting. and Lady gaga,Justin Timberlake and Eminiem are wayy popular and well known.They werent on BET when they first started. And as for Justin bieber i dont think he will ever be on BET and i dont blame them.Sorry but hes not that good.

Ha. BET’s standards definitely do not signify who is and isn’t talented. They don’t play a lot of very talented musicians, that doesn’t mean they aren’t talented.

It probably has a lot to do with the fact that he’s a young pop star.

BET plays Soulja Boy all the time….but he has zero talent. Explain that to me.
