Question by Hugo: I’m confused how Atheism isn’t a poor bet.?
**WARNING*** This is not an Atheist bashing post **WARNING**

I’m just curious, but in the end there are two options, there is an afterlife or there isn’t.

If there is, you go to hell for denying God.

If there isn’t, you go to the same place whether you believe or not.

If there was a game in a Vegas casino where you placed a bet, the dealer rolls a dice, if the number was even you lose your money, and if the number was odd you win nothing but get your money back, would you play it?
Haha I guess this wasn’t an original thought, even though I swear I’d never read about it until now.

Also, isn’t atheism a 0% bet, at least choosing one God would give you a shot correct?
